“Friendship, Character, Justice, Education”

Born Proud, Raised Proud

On October 13, 1890, eleven law students at Cornell University formed a Law Fraternity, Delta Chi. In 1922, the Fraternity officially went “general,” thus opening its membership to men in all areas of study. In 1929, Delta Chi became the first fraternity to officially abolish hazing practices associated with “hell week.” Since its founding at Cornell, Delta Chi has grown to more than 120 chapters and colonies across the United States and Canada. Including ours here at Tarleton State which was founded on April 30, 1988 making it one of the longest-tenured fraternities on campus.

ΔΧ Convention Awards 2024

Recently our chapter had the privilege of attending the Miami Florida convention. In which the Tarleton chapter was able to win three awards. The first is the excellence in Assisting with a sound Education. The second award was the Raymond D. Halbert Award Certificate of Achievement. Finally, our esteemed “E” Dayne Kubat brought home the “E” key award which only fifteen men in the nation achieve.

Executive Board

Aside from offering experience in time management, conflict resolution, communication, and other real-world preparation for your son’s time after college our Executive Board is responsible for setting the tone and fostering a culture to grow strong men

Brotherhood of a Lifetime

College years are the final stepping stone into adult life, it is a time to find life-long friends, future business partners, and groomsmen. Delta Chi pride’s ourselves in fostering a bond that lasts well beyond your time here at Tarleton State University. This makes itself evident in the fact that much like our actives, our alumni are active in the community and tightly knit. At our 2020 Alumni Golf Tournament we had founding brothers come back and help raise money. Find your future with us.

Campus Involvement

Fewer and fewer young men are attending college, and those that do are dropping out at an alarming rate, the best defense for this is involvement on campus. Freshmen who find an organization where they feel at home and supported give them a reason to stick around. Joining Delta Chi opens the door to intramural teams, socials with sororities, campus traditions, tailgates, and many other things. Getting involved may be the difference in graduating, getting involved with us will get you across the stage with nothing but fond memories of your time here.

“When I think back to joining Delta Chi nearly 30 years ago, I joined a chapter that was living our shared values and improving the quality of life for our members, our campus, and the community. We were leaders on campus and we participated in community service and philanthropy efforts.”

— Aaron Otto, Kansas State University, International President
